Why We Support Autistic Children
Oliver is autistic and nonverbal. He had no friends. Nowhere to go where people truly understood him. No space where he could just be himself without the world being harder than it needs to be.
As his dad, I didn’t have the answers. I didn’t know where to turn. And I knew we weren’t the only family feeling that way.
So we did what we knew had to be done. We built it ourselves.
A place where autistic children learn to make friends through play. Where they build social, emotional and communication skills at their own pace. Where they belong from the moment they walk through the door.
What We Offer
Every Saturday morning we open the doors to a warm, sensory aware space where autistic children can play, connect and grow at their own pace. No pressure. No judgment. Just two hours where every child belongs.
For Children
- Learn to make friends through play
- Develop communication and social skills
- Build emotional regulation
- Grow confidence at their own pace
For Parents
- Shared understanding and support
- A room full of parents who just get it
- A space where your child is accepted as they are
- Community and connection
The Quiet Room
Sometimes the main room is too much. And that’s completely okay.
Our quiet room is a calmer space to reset and recharge when the world gets a little loud. Bean bags, floor cushions and soft toys. Everything your child needs to feel safe and settled.
Because every child is different. Some thrive in the buzz of the main hall. Others need somewhere quieter. We’ve got both.
